The Barn, near Leyburn enjoys breathtaking panoramic views over Coverdale from its hillside setting. This truly gorgeous detached cottage has recently been refurbished, successfully blending traditional character with fresh, contemporary decor and furnishings.
The Barn is set in a superbly tranquil location with no through traffic. This area is marvellous walking country, with many marked footpaths, and pony trekking is available locally.
The little hamlet of Caldbergh lies just 3 miles from Middleham with its famous castle, vibrant racing scene, shops and selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants offering excellent food. East Witton, home to a renowned dining pub and Braithwaite Hall (National Trust), is 4 miles away as are Leyburn's popular market, cinema and wide range of shops.
Nearby, visitors can discover the surprises of 'The Forbidden Corner' garden, and Jervaulx Abbey and Aysgarth Waterfalls are both under 8 miles whilst about 12 miles away are Richmond's castle and swimming pool, and Hawes with the renowned Dales Folk Museum, Wensleydale Creamery and ropemakers.
