Within 3 miles, the famous Minster, Jorvik Viking Museum, National Railway Museum, Waterworld swimming pool, inns, restaurants, cinemas and the Designer Centre are among York's myriad attractions. Steam train trips across the North Yorkshire Moors from Pickering, the wartime Britain experience at Eden Camp, Castle Howard and the thrills of Flamingo Land theme park are all under a half hour's drive, whilst Scarborough and Whitby are just a little further. Pub and shop 1 mile.
