Pickering (8 miles) offers steam railway trips on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, good shopping and an indoor pool. Eden Camp, Flamingo Land Theme Park and Castle Howard are a short drive and York is only 25 miles away.
Good walking, fishing, golf and riding locally, with cycle hire and quad biking nearby. Dining pub 100 yards, shop 2 miles.
