Malham and the surrounding area has some superb holiday cottages. Malham is a picturesque traditional Dales village set amidst rolling countryside. The limestone Scar at Malham Cove and the famous Tarn and Gordale Scar provide some of the most spectacular scenery in the Yorkshire Dales.
Malham has 2 country inns serving excellent food, teashops, specialised shops and the National Park Centre in the village will provide all the information you need for exploring the heart of the Dales.
Walks beckon from the doorstep ranging from a leisurely stroll or a bracing hike across the fells, and the Pennine Way is close by. The market towns of Settle, Grassington and Skipton all have an array of individual shops and restaurants and are within a 30 minute drive from Malham.
Kirby Malham has a picturesque location that is close to Malham village. The local pub in Kirby Malham serves real ales and good food. Airton is a pretty village with a farm shop, teashop/restaurant. Both villages are close to the wonderful Dales scenery and magnificent walking opportunities.
