| Lockton & Levisham Holiday Cottages |
Lockton & Levisham are two small villages to the north of the market town of Pickering. Lockton has a small shop in the village. Levisham has a dining pub. Both villages are close to Levisham station where you can take a train ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
The villages are surrounded by spectacular scenery, quiet country lanes and moorland tracks. They are an excellent location for a relaxing holiday. Lockton & Levisham are good locations for discovering the moors and also the Yorkshire coastline. The village of Goathland is only a short drive. You can easily visit the coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough.
Pickering is the nearest town (4 miles from Lockton & 6 miles from Levisham) and offers a good range of shops, restaurants, pubs, leisure centre & swimming pool. Attractions in Pickering include the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Pickering Castle and Beck Isle Museum.
