Great Wood Lodges are tucked away in rural seclusion and are exclusively for adults only. The woodland lodges overlook a tranquil fishing lake (fishing available at an extra charge) and are surrounded by lovely oak woodland.
Great Wood is an outstanding holiday base and is located just 12 miles from the historic city of York. The lodges are superbly situated for exploring the numerous delights of this lovely area. The Moors and Dales are easily accessible and local pubs and restaurants abound.
Visitors here will find themselves spoilt for choice! The surrounding countryside affords good birdwatching, walking, horse riding, cycling and golf. A host of interesting cities and towns are within an easy drive including Pickering (22 miles), elegant Harrogate (30 miles) and the seaside town of Scarborough (35 miles).
