Inland from End House are the great houses of Castle Howard, Sledmere and Burton Agnes. Historical Rievaulx Abbey is within easy reach, as is Flamingo Land Theme Park, Eden Camp and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway with its scenic journey over the 'Heartbeat' moorlands. York's excellent visitor attractions are 40 miles away. Quad bike trekking, riding and golf can be found nearby, and fishing locally. Pub/restaurant 200 yards, shop 1 mile.
