End House holiday cottage is a superb property that boasts its own beautiful indoor heated swimming pool and a large enclosed garden. Spacious and very comfortable, with stylish, modern furnishings, it enjoys lovely country views to the Yorkshire Wolds and provides an excellent base for exploring the many delights of the North Yorkshire Moors and coast.
Just 4 miles away are the sands of Cayton Bay. Quaint Filey is 6 miles and Scarborough's traditional seaside activities, sealife centre, swimming pool, renowned Stephen Joseph theatre and harbour are only 8 miles. The picturesque town of Whitby and old fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay lie 20 miles up the coast making End House a good base.
Inland from End House are the great houses of Castle Howard, Sledmere and Burton Agnes. Historical Rievaulx Abbey is within easy reach, as is Flamingo Land Theme Park, Eden Camp and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway with its scenic journey over the 'Heartbeat' moorlands. York's myriad attractions are 40 miles away. Quad bike trekking, riding and golf can be found nearby, and fishing locally. Pub/restaurant 200 yards, shop 1 mile.
End House is very suitable for family gatherings and large groups.
